DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: a space that acts as a transition for users which should be comfy and for visitors that gives a luxurious impression.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: Achieving and designing an eclectic style that merges beteween classic elegance and modern simplicity.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: Achieving success globally and studying different cultures. I believe a house is a space that reflects people needs which differ from one culture to another.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: It took me a total of 8 weeks after making several trials.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: I chose this style according to my client requirements as I found suitable to fulfill what he needs. It is commissioned for a private residence of client of our design studio.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: My design isn't produced by any other means. Our office will be working on the production of the whole house to come to real life.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: My design studio scope of work is to make interior and architecture designs for our clients.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: Definitely my team worked with me on th design
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: This an interior design for one of our clients and each client receives a unique design of his house according to his requirements and our design concept
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: The humongous space was a challenge to create a different small sitting area and putting unique artistic pieces.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: I wanted a name that reflects luxury and wealth
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: First brainstorming and getting some ideas, then making different sketches. Finally we use 3d modeling programs to create realistic photos.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: Trying to be artistic whether by making a special handrail or adding some artistic pieces
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: RZ design studio ( my own studio) actually we did everything in it.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: Using 3D modeling programs to produce a real image with same materials and lightings
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: Design ideas from internet and books to come up with a new idea
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: Thinking of each idea technically how it will be executed and the relationship between different materials since it's not only an image
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I heard about the competition and would love to participate in it
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: Challenging myself that I should never be satisfied of what I design makes me always eager to design better
