DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: With this bench I intended to bring the architecture of the Piers of the American coast for a reading of design and luxury.

: I would like to elegantly reach the public that likes the observation points of nature and architecture with rereading for design and luxury.

: Expand sales of this product to more partners around the world and reach maximum disclosure.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: 4 months.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: This project was not commissioned, it was developed based on own ideas to achieve personal satisfaction.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: This product is already produced by Voler, from Antônio Prado, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: The main ideals for designing this bench were technical and artistic achievement.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: I'm the only designer on the project.

: I want to reach the public of people who enjoy organic design and with staying power.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: The name of the project comes in contact with the piers, the structures that advance to the sea.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: The tools used to design this bench were freehand drawing and 3D drawing programs.

: Construction and strength.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: This bench was born of the partnership of the designer with the specialized workmanship and the machinery of the company Voler.

: Primordial in order to enable the bench's design.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: The main research is based on observation of several piers, especially those of the American coast.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: The main challenge of the project was to balance volumes and fixation.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: Every year I submit projects in international design competitions.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: I learned more about fixing cylindrical profiles in linear planes.
