: This project is totally inspired by nature.

: The project is focused on the safety of cyclists in urban traffic.

: I spent almost 4 months designing this helmet.

: This project was the initial idea of the biomimicry class in my school.

: The cyclists in urban traffic.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: Unlike other products using the electric bulb, Morpho Helmet has a unique style. It does not need any electricity to activate which inspired by the structural color of the wings of Morpho Butterfly.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: The main idea was inspired by the structural color of the wings of Morpho Butterfly.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: I had lots of 3D-printing prototypes to test whether it works.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: The way it flashes!
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: The material and optical anger of the light.

: I had lots of 3D-printing prototypes to test how it works.

: the reflection of the light on the surface is hard to control.

: A Design Award is quite famous and it is a good opportunity for me to promote if I could win.

: The method of research of the biomimicry is quite important.
