DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: The exhibition was about the business of humour, my inspiration came from the business magazine.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: I played with the expectation of the audience, the same way with the humour works.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: The whole project took around 4 months.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: We worked closely with the client, at first they expected another way and we changed their minds.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: We designed this project for the client.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: We explored a lot of ideas, and this one was the best.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: I got the influence from the business magazine.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Everyone.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: When people think about humour, they always expect the colourful, fancy, and funny design. We went the other way.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: The name came from the client.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCad, etc.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: The sense of humour.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: We worked with several talented design studios. Craftsmanship for the photobooth, Duct Unit for the elevator at the entrance door, and Parallel P for the laser corridor.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: It helped us create the uniques experiences and let the audience interact with the content gratefully.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: We researched various mediums and communications on this topic.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: When you talk about humour, people expect funny. It's hard to change that perception.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I got the invitation.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: I've learned a lot of new things, with a lot of talented people. Most of them I don't sure that I could do it.
