DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: The main idea of this earring was to describe to pathway with different materials in which each one evolved into another.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: I've designed a jewelry using completely different materials, each representing another level of metamorphosis. During the design process I was anxious about its aesthetic look and easy to use form.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: I would like to design jewelry that tells people a story, it's not only a jewelry but it's something more when it has a story. With this award winning design I'd like to intoduce Stelart (storytellingart) jewelry into the taste of people with lots of stories along with the jewelry.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: It took about two months.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: Metamorphosis takes place in life but we can not follow the whole process since it is a matter of time. We can just see the seperate metamophic forms as it is in the life cycle of a butterfly. When you look to a butterfly, you can not easily imagine it was once a caterpiller. Many mythological stories are also based on metamorphic transformations. So the idea of changing materials in a jewerly form attracted me.
