DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
VV : This is my first attempt in Architectural design, i just wanted to create a building in the way i am seeing it.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
VV : Unique shape, because i think in the Architectural design this is the most important.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
VV : It would be great if any interest of building this but unfortunately i guess it will remain only a concept.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
VV : I have version one of this building, later i decided to add this white shell. All project took me 6 months.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
VV : Originally it was a project for a competition about designing a museum. I didn't win but i decided to share what i have created.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
VV : At this stage i don't have neither plans nor offers this building to be created.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
VV : It was made for a contest.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
VV : There are plenty of designs which can inspire but in that case i wouldn't say that i was influenced.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
VV : Large investor in Construction business
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
VV : The shape is unusual.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
VV : The name Quantum represents mostly the shape. These two corpora are like two separating particles.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
VV : Software for 3D modeling and rendering.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
VV : It is the shape of the two corpora and the corridors that connecting them.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
VV : Yes, i made some consultations with architects.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
VV : Using the latest technologies you always have the possibility to create more complex shapes.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
VV : I wouldn't say, it was based on inspiration.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
VV : The main challenge was to create a building which has to be attractive.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
VV : I wanted to show this project first to the jury to receive evaluation and luckily it won an award and it became more
popular.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
VV : This is my first attempt in designing buildings so there is a lot to improve.
