DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: The flower-inspired design projects an image of the harmonious balance born from the synergetic union of the softness and tension of natural symbols.
The pure lines and expressive ability immediately give rise to a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. The soft elegant shapes create the experience of a surreal space where one’s self can be rediscovered and balance returned.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: The line is built around the concept of well-beign. These objects establish a perceptive-esthetic relationship with the person interacting with them, and aim toward satisfying and regenerating the senses through one of the most undeniable daily rituals: the bath.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: I woudl like to star a collaborations for factory and to promote myself.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: The project "Callas" it has asked for nine months of job divided among the development of the concept of the communication of WELL-BEING and planning of the final product that it could communicate such concept.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: This design is an pursuit inspiration.
I develop this design concept for to tell the space embraces the body and mind, returning well-beign, and becoming an experience of celebration and caring for the whole self.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: I would want to sell the concept well-Beign and callas it could be the point of departure.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: The target for this design are the :Contract,WellnessSPA,
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: “we need empathic experiences that can give us moments of wellness. The object is nothing more than a mere vehicle through which we experience these feelings, our real objective.”
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: The pencil and mind!
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: The asymmetry. The embrace created by sweets tensions!
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: For realize the prototipe I worked for a factory specialized in yacht design construction.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: The technology for this design is relegated to the material composition.
For construction of the bathtub, use has been planned for a synthetic material, exmar, created from a composition of resin and quartz powder, pleasant on contact with the skin, and especially well suited for its ability to conserve water heat over a long period.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: For the development of the Project well-Beign.Some searches were conducted on the similar products , on the ergonomics and on the perception that these returned in relationship to their destination of use in environment contract and spa.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: Difficulty has been to find a design with an equilibrium of form not invasive towards to the user but able to be decoded with a recognizable design in ours lived.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I like the competition;because is a momento for to compare own ideas and the very important to receive the feedbacks for the future job.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: To plan means: to have experiences and the to make authentic really run design.
