DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: The old Ottoman coffee Grinder inspired me to create this console
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: As usual I wanted to showcase an old piece within a modern creation

: I would like it to be shown in many Art Shows & Fairs outside Jordan

: It took me around one week to design this concept

: I designed this piece for my gallery of Arts & Crafts
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: I intend to produce my work myself
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: This is typical of my type of design, as I always try to incorporate an old handicraft piece into a modern creation
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: It was purely my idea & no one influenced me.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Art Lovers, creative clients who appreciate heritage & cultural pieces
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: It is a unique piece as the old coffee grinder is difficult to find these days.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: The name Mabrada, which means coffee cooler, was reproduced to form one of the legs of the console & thats how I chose to use it.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: The carpenter put it together with regular tools.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: The whole piece is unique using stonelike paint & reproducing the shape of the coffee cooler to become one of the legs of the console.
