DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: The desire to create jewelry, where will be two parallel independent artistic image and two different states!
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: In the wildlife not frozen state. Changing seasons. In place of gloomy morning comes a warm sunny day.
A Day replaces night. Change colors, changing the atmosphere.
I wanted to introduce the idea of turnover patterns in jewelry.
The idea of the collection of "Metamorphosis" is the possibility of the miraculous transformation of
one image to another. The owner of jewelry join a party game in which the transformation of form and content.
A Man gets entertainment and art. You get the style and attribute of life, which can be defined as an adventure.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: This collection allows you to create endless variations of jewelry. Each ornament keeps two different images, reveals a kaleidoscope of visions, stories, surprises. I think that the appreciation of the idea, which gave the jury will draw the attention to the collection of "Metamorphosis."
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
:
The very idea of altering different states and turnover patterns is on the surface.
But to find a simple technological solution is quite difficult. A couple of times I gave up the desire
to continue the work. But the idea by itself found me, as I was not hiding from it.
In the end, there were construction and artistic design.
With some breaks that lasted about three years.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: I was conducted by the thirst for knowledge and research. I knew what I want to do but I did not know how.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: hink that this idea can find support and understanding from the manufacturers and will go to the art scene with unusual products.
It It has a game and mystery. The owner of jewelry gets entertainment and art, pleasure, fun and PASSION!
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: The desire to find new ways to create jewelry.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: In the end, falling to one side or another domino stones helped me to find shape and design of jewelry. The resulting design is
intended to create a wide range of jewelry - brooches, pendants, belt buckles, earrings using the idea of the mobile, changing structure.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: This work is for a man who appreciates originality and singularity.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: World is so diverse and have so many ideas in the air, that analogy can exist. There is a saying: "We sleep in the same bed, but we see different dreams."
I hope that this collection of my dream, and has its own character.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: Metamorphosis (Greek μεταμόρφωσις) - transformation, the transformation of something. Coming up was not necessary. The Roman poet Ovid wrote about fifteen books.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Own imagination and desire to create new content for decoration.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: Simplicity of design allows you to focus on the artistic component of each created jewelry/object.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: This was not necessary. Several elements move freely on hinges. Their performance requires precision and calculation, which I own.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: The main role belongs to the artistic qualities.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: I made a few dozen test models of paper and metal. All of the studies were to meditation and a proof copy.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: Lack of imagination. The standard way of thinking!
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: Like to present a wide range of experts and fans of these ideas.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: Desire to implement an interesting idea was stronger than fatigue and frustration. Now I can say that this construction allows one piece to connect the two original jewelry!
