DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
IO : My design is based on simplicity, functionality and the desire to create an emotional connection. I was inspired by people who wanted to create a strong bond with their pets in the city. My aim was to create a timeless space that was aesthetic, safe and instinctively comfortable.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
IO : My main focus was to create an elegant, colourful, multi-purpose space that creates both a physical and emotional bond between pet and human. I wanted to provide a sense of belonging, even when on the move, as both a bag and a safe haven.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
IO : I want to offer this design in limited numbers and as a collection and introduce it to distinguished animal lovers worldwide. In the future, I aim to maintain this line and grow my brand on a global scale with new product lines that combine aesthetics and functionality.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
IO : This design took me approximately 12-16 months.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
IO : This design was not commissioned, but a necessity. There was a lack of space in the city where pets could feel safe and be carried around in a stylish way. When I realized this deficiency, I set out with an instinctive inspiration.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
IO : To preserve the spirit and quality of the design, I plan to produce it in a limited, exclusive, and self-controlled manner for now. However, I may be open to licensing or custom production collaborations with the right partners in the future.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
IO : I wanted to show that pets are companions that are not only carried but also felt. The idea of creating a safe space for them, stylish and multi-purpose for people led me to this design.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
IO : No, there wasn't.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
IO : My design was prepared for urban animal lovers who see their pets as a life partner rather than an object and who value aesthetics and quality. People who adopt a lifestyle that combines luxury with functionality adopt this design in the best way.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
IO : This design is not just a carrying bag; it is also a safe home and an aesthetic living object. Its material quality, multi-purpose use and its form inspired by architectural details clearly distinguish it from its counterparts. In addition, its changeable color structure makes it even more unique, as it can be personalized according to the user's style and season.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
IO : I named it the space capsule because space capsules offer the opportunity to watch the outside from the inside.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?

IO : The hardest part was setting up the interchangeable fabric structure.
