: I would like Tetra marker to produced and I am looking for what the competition offers in terms of promotion and commercial contacts so that Tetra reaches to many kids as possible.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: Tetra conceptualization took three months to complete. one month to do research and another two months to create a design.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: It was a personal inspiration that I set out to create something that creates the new paradigm for kids products that encourage unique behavior and a productive afterlife for the product.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: The name of the Tetra represents its cap Geometry which evolved from tetrahedron shape
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: I usually work with a pen to sketch the ideas and outline style, then I start to work on the CAD in order to deepen the experimentation using 3-dimensional visualization.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: The Unique shape of Tetra marker makes it easy to press and pull out. Also, kids can put each compound together to form a shape and explore to build the new shape.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: The initial stage of online and market research performed on children stationary and toys which engage and positively impact children behavior and social skill. The next stage of research was to examine the existing block puzzle assembly and joint. Actually, my task was just the opposite of the one of a classical block puzzle; because I had to design structures that are simple and easy to assemble.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: Following the different conceptualizing phases, I discover that a real designer has to think of all aspects but in a realizable and practical way.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: International design competitions allow us to share our work in the wider global design community, gain feedback that allows us to grow our skills level and design methods and inspires both new and other designers. It also established credibility for the work we do. Getting a design award is a bonus and I am grateful for that!
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: I enjoy when an opportunity for innovation is found in even the most simple of products. I have been learning technically how to solve some of the problems and this helps me anticipate solutions. As for the Tera interconnecting and its three-dimensional form, what has most surprised me is the difficulty encountered in optimizing and making them user-friendly.
