: The building is configured as multiple ship-like volumes which are interlocked in a complex layout.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: The building shall lay scattered in the forest, as its view from the outside is fragmented by lush vegetation around it.

: One year.

: The design concept was entirely conceived by Satoshi Okada and it derives both from the context and from the human feelings it aims to trigger.

DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: The same structural system has been later applied to the Agri-community Center;

: Visitors of the private gallery, intellectually active users.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: This design is part of a ongoing thread of research and practice.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: It derives from the name of its location.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: Hirokazu Toki, structural engineer and researcher. Together we developed and optimized the CSS (Container Structure System) that bears the loads of the whole building.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: It enhance the architectural concept and ensure comfort and safety throughout the whole building.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: Because of its outstanding beauty.
