DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: The design was totally designed to cater to the home owner's needs and requirements; where in this case, due to his liking for slick, dark and liking for Italian design; as well as his needs for storage and work space gave us the inspiration and motive to works towards to
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: We have always been a firm believer that we should work around our clients' habits, needs and requirements where we always choose to focus on space planning first which is the most important follow by colours, materials and style.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: To win more awards!
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: Abt 6 months
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: We have always been trying to explore and trying out new materials and ways to apply techniques for a residential home. Likewise, no difference for this home.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: It is done by our company.

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Our target audience are home owners who want to renovate their home.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: The owners and us the designers had a good working relationship and trust which enables us to do this project smoothly.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: A Bachelor's Gallery Abode, as the title goes that he stays alone with the ornaments, works and pictures to inspires him and gives him happiness and peace.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Autocad and hand drawn perspectives
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: We would say the proposed layout that we had conceptualise for him.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: We worked with contractors who are plumbers, electricians, tilers, painters, carpenters and other skilled specialised workers who are hone in their craft to come out with the end result of this project.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: Was the need to create storage and yet not feel clutter in the home.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: It is when we felt that we would like to be recognised like the well known designers in the world.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: As the competition goes, we would like to continue testing ourselves out there and improve ways by learning from our peers as well as trying to create better and nicer projects in the future .
