DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: I wanted to represent ski resort in a different way, to make it stand out. The inspiration for this website came from skiing. In the design I used triangles that symbolize the mountains. Also the website has bold typography and lots of natural photography of the place.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: I wanted to make this website interesting and at the same time convenient and easy for users.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: I plan to add animation for this website.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: Design took a month. The project started in November and finished in December.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: I did this concept because the theme of ski resort is close to me.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Mostly young people, who want to go to this ski resort.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: The design itself, using triangles that symbolize the mountains, bright color. Also, unusual block with prices.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: I wanted it to be easy to remember and pronounce.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: I used Adobe Photoshop.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: Representing big amount of information in a simple and minimalist website.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: The challenge was to make the website interesting and at the same time intuitive and easy for users.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I got an email from one of the managers with invitation to participate and decided to try it. And I really glad for that!
