DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: 70s was born from the admixture of the principle of deconstruction architecture, cubism and the 70s style.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: The main focus that I wanted to achieve designing 70s was related to my idea of deconstruction. I wanted to link art and architecture.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: I would like to have contact with some furniture design company, in order to produce my pieces.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: It was an ispiration, I started designing 70s from an idea, it took me for some days, this design was a consequence of a thought
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: I designed this concept in 2012 it was for a contest.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: 70s is produced by ZAD Italy, only on request.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: The target for this design is anyone who understand the value of the idea and it is destinated to people who have critical idea.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: The name 70s comes from the seventies a particular period of time when you can find geometrical signs that you'll find on the legs of this table.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: I designed 70s using software like sketchup and 3ds max and autocad
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: I did not collaborate with anyone, in this particular piece.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: The role of technology is very important because it allows me to think about a unique piece. The prototype was made of wood and it has some discontinuity.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: I was not influenced by any data or analytical research.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I decided to sent my design because I deeply believe in my design, it's a passion.
