DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: The old house is renewed and the historical building is reused, the 80-year-old house was converted into a VIP Lounge tea house, in addition to remove the old building, how to retain the original features and create a new life.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: Two years.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: In view of the gradual prosperity of the concept of historical building re-use, the exploration of historical buildings to create new life, the historical building preservation in recent years is not to "reuse" to continue the use of new and old space culture, rethinking the way historical buildings are reused This is the common belief of the design consignor and the designer. We started the design meeting several times to try to find the most suitable solution until the consignor talked about the emotional connection between him and the building, so I changed the design concept and began to study the life of the space. This is what he said: The building has experienced many things with him, and life begins with a turning point. What more exciting things can this excitement be? Life begins at the moment of the turn, and so is we.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: Because of the work opportunity to touch with historical buildings, I also like traditional architecture, and hope to make historic buildings available for innovation.

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: The special shoe store has a space for VIPs.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: This is a VIP space created for rest and drinking Chinese tea.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Photoshop、Vray、sketchUp and AutoCAD.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: Bricks and tiles are reborn, and bricks and tiles are used as roofing building materials in the old-style Chinese-style buildings. The bricks and tiles are retained and reused as a wall with unique decoration and compartment effects.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I think it should be seen.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: The space design must meet the needs of users, and explore the relevance and value of historical buildings for reuse.
