DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: Visually demonstrate gift wrapping service, how business card would be clear on first sight. Also, client's wish was to have a recognizable and memorable business card, the card which would awake curiosity and encourage positive emotions and how could be more highlighted among the others.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: Show how a usual piece of paper (offset paper) can be interesting when it wrapped with decorative paper, how can look more attractive and give an additional value.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: Honestly, don't have a future plan for this project.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: An idea came to me relatively quickly, then I spent a few days to develop it till the finish. Firstly, was thinking about covering a contact information, but very soon denied that idea because of fear that person which take a business card wouldn't want to cut tape. So I decided to keep information uncovered and that was proved as correct thinking.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: Followed inspiration at that moment. Firstly, had an intention to play with color, tried to make something interesting. Then I decided to play with different color and other type of paper.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: That was an ordered work for another company, which has represented itself with this part of direct communication.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: Inspiration, good idea and wish to make something unique and special.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: Not at this project, but speaking generally, other designs had probably left an impression on me and consequently on my work, my utterance.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Target was other companies which practice of giving a present to their business partner, and express an appreciation in that way.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: I think, that could be a using of two different materials (offset paper and decorative paper), also as is used two different printing technique (offset printing and screen printing).
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: In this case it's obvious :)
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Sketch block and pencil for developing idea, then hardware and software for realization.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: Decorative paper with print, wrapped around the business card
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: Worked and communicated with master of the print process.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: Technology has the main role in the process of realisation.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: Analyzed the offer of service, what company doing and how.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: The problem was that decorative paper couldn't be cut by machine, so I was forced to cut with my hand using a plain scalpel.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: The organizer sent me an invitation.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: Developed a more sense for organizing and producing, also confirmed myself how additional effort brings benefit.

: Is an interesting to watch how people react when receive a business card, how they rotate it and research carefully, how peeking under the tape. How they start commenting excitedly, showing open interest.
