: The hardest part of this design project was to differentiate a new olive oil brand out of the big Greek and International competition.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: A Design Awards is a well known design competition and I believed that entering the competition could give a chance to my client and my for better recognition of the product and the design work.
DI: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
: Regarding the logo of the brand, The circle in the middle of the logo symbolises the olive oil and ancient Olympia (letter O) and is placed at the center of an amphora shape which is inspired by the letter A of the word Amphora, and all together are concealed in a black circle. This idea helps the eyes of the beholder focus on the essential message: this is an olive oil of Greek origin and carries all the qualities of this heritage.
The different colors depicted on the “O” showcase the varieties of the product.
