DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: The idea of my project is quite simple - the problem of storing bicycles out of season.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: Atlos - is an engineering experiment. I wanted to achieve a result as a new design of a bicycle frame, a new principle of folding, which, in the end I achieved.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: I would like to improve some details and launch this project to the masses.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: About 9-10 months, from the first sketch to a real object.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: The decision to create this project was based on a long study of various aspects that are related to bicycles. As a result, I stopped at the idea of storage and folding.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: I would like to produce Atlos on my own, but I do not rule out the possibility of cooperation with some company.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: My target audience is not athletes, they are people who love cycling, who have a bicycle at home, but who are frustrated by the fact of cluttering space with its storing.
