DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: To capture the essence of this majestic creature and portray it in an innovative way whilst retaining its classical properties.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: I wanted the subject matter to be alive. To portray its majestic energy and movement.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: To see the design develop into other art forms and prints (perhaps printed onto porcelain or silk creations).
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: Less than one month
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: I was pursuing a very vivid inspiration that had been brewing for quite some time.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: I would like to sell the design and work or collaborate to produce other creations in the form of porcelain or silk/fabric creations. I would very much like to work with design houses to produce quality items and designs suitable for upmarket re sell
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: A fascination for the creature, I wanted to paint this often classical subject in a more innovative way.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Luxury Design Houses
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: The use of colour, and proportions. A classic subject portrayed in a more modern way.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: Manifestation is an interpretation of Divine Energy. It is the Energy that flows through all life, and this is a beautiful interpretation (Manifestation) of that Energy.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: I use pencil and paper to draw some sketches of the animal from photographs I obtained on the web. I then re drew, free hand , working from my original drawing and painted using acrylic colours on canvas and finished off with the gold foil.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: I think the pose of the horse and the colours its enveloped in. The movement of the mane as it gallops toward its destiny

: Research purposes
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: Web image search
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: To successfully capture the animals proportions
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I was approached, and felt it was time to take these designs further. I appreciated being invited.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: I learnt what I am capable of. I learnt not to be afraid to explore different subject matter. I learnt that I can take this further and I'm learning to follow my passions.

: I believe that to follow your passions is of very high importance in one's life. I thank you for the opportunity to participate in this competition and possibly exposing my dreams to design houses and other entrepreneurs who may be in need of what I have to offer. Ciao
