Liu, Chun-Hui ("LC") answered Design Interview ("DI") questions about their award-winning work Definition Of Spring Nature Space. Interview questions prepared by Frank Scott.
LC : The main idea is the definition of the early spring, and the change from winter to spring.
LC : I want to realize the four functions of life in one space.
LC : Keep the faith of seasonal cuisine and seasonal design.
LC : About four months.
LC : I pursuit an inspiration of seasons, and a space of nature. That is where the beings born.
LC : My own production.
LC : It is from the inspiration of seasonal cuisine.
LC : I put the concept of moving time in a still space.
LC : The operation of design is named "Between The Limitation." we break the original boundaries of rooms. Based on a traditional Chinese character "回", we make the different life functions connected and create the fun of life. It includes the free movement of outdoor, and the easy of the routes.
