DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: Creating a lightweight structure as well as sustainability via mimicking the cobweb
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: My main goal is backing to nature as a source of design, in other word, creating more connection to nature through bionic designs that is one of my interests.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: I’m trying to present my works and I’m looking to find a sponsor or company that interest to my designs and want to work with me .
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: Approximately one week
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: It was one of my inspirations furniture collections from nature, indeed it is so interesting for me to design in different fields alongside with my architectural designs.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: I will be happy if companies want to lease (I prefer) or buy it because I’m so interested in realizing this product.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: Creating an enjoyable sense in different spaces
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: Actually no
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: Balance between simplicity and complexity, lightweight and heavyweight
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: As I mentioned before, I inspired from the cobweb of spider to design the lightweight structure
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: It is a concept that I used rhino (my favorite one) and 3ds max.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: Eco friendly, because the main material of this product is wood.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: In all of my designs, technology is the second step. I mean that my primary is free hand drawing then realizing my concept to 3d models with the aid of technical instruments.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: Absolutely yeah, this concept consists of four arches with special geometry which is needed to mathematical analysis.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: As I said before, this competition is one the best to present our designs to others and for me, one of my dream is to be one of the best international architect.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: In general, in all of my design process, I can understand my talent and try to promote it for better through practicing and learning the new thing in different fields for example in this particular design I searched about spider and learned different things that I did not know before.
