DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: We wanted to affix a unique stamp to our corporate design. Witty, cheeky and different from our competing agencies. Memorability took top priority as well as good functionality in social media as well as being able to implement humorous guerrilla actions. In order to maintain interest or reviving it, it is essential to create new short films and photos fast and relatively uncomplicated. We decided to use animal masks and our selected ones seem to be perfect. You attract attention by wearing one - furthermore the respective character of a chosen animal expresses different characteristics like shrewdness, courage, team spirit and strength.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: We wanted to bring more attention to our work. Moreover we wanted to stand out and to be different from our competitors. An other priority was to show who we are - we are mad, imaginative, witty and cheeky.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: We can not say exactly how long it has taken to create this concept. At the beginning we sometimes talked about which masks we need and what we want to do with them. The creative thinking has taken a long time. The development took 6 weeks.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Everyone. This design should be entertaining the user and should help us to be recognised. We wanted to stand out and that is was we achieved with this design.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: We made use of the common stereotypes and puns, which are related to the character of each animal. The fearful hare, the shrewd fixen as a nurse, and many more. The challenge was to create different short films with as many diverse animal masks as possible.
