DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: The inspiration of the buiding is all about the urbanism and the rural enviorment of Verin. In fact, the way of the buildings are set in the limit of the plots and the common spaces they let in the interiors, are the main influence of the design of the Centre.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: We want to provide the intimacy of a home and the heterogeneity of a town, at the same time, in the same building.
Each use of the program required was materialized as a unit, as a volume that is aligned to the edge of the patchs creating a space of coexistence and relationship, without hierarchies, supporting the idea of small community.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: To be recognised in the design world. To gain prestige, reknowned worldwide, which means to keep designing new projects.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: About three months.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: The programm was required by The City Hall of Verin. The way it is distributed and designed was taken of the analysis of the urbanism of the area.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: This design has only be created to be the building of The Arts Centre of Verin.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: This scheme make separation and conexion of the units compatible, generating numerous nucleous that interact and change depending on the use of its ocupants.
The displacement and delicate turn of volumes generates a random appearance scheme but full of relationships and variants. It is a place defined by its own flexibility, unpredictable. Something involuntary that occurs as a result of the relationships of their own uses.

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Everybody who visitis a Cultural Centre. We are atlking about families, and people who want to asist to an event.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: This is a project that takes care about the place where is set.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Autocad, 3d rhino, revit
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: ¿Great home or small town? Arts center of Verin provides the intimacy of a home and the heterogeneity of a town.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: With structure engineers and with the constructors of the building.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: Its sustainable manner, due to the materials in the urban land (Green spaces and reciclable pavement) and the installations, that allows energy and water savings.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?

DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: the budget was reduced so the construction had to be simply and low-cost.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: Because it is a well-done project in terms on how a contemporany work can be integrated in a rural enviorment without attack the landscape.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: The importance of the situation and the consideration of the budget to built. the centre has a outstanding character, withot dismissing the environment it is set and taking care about the scale (size and height) with the surrondings.
