We had the distinct pleasure to interview award winning designer Richard Kun about their original and creative Glowing flowers design work. Richard Kun is an award-winning industrial designer, that makes our world a better place with their original glowing flowers works.

DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?

RK : flAVATAR - Magical Flowers were inspired by the movie, Avatar. I wanted to recreate James Cameron's vision by bringing glowing flowers to life.

DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?

RK : I wanted to create flowers and plants that are glowing in the dark.

DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?

RK : I want flAVATAR - Magical Flowers to be known worldwide.

DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?

RK : It took 1 year.

DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?

RK : In Europe I intetnt to produce it myself, but I am willing to sell the technologies to buyers from other continents.

DI: What made you design this particular type of work?

RK : I was inspired by James Cameron's Avatar movie.

DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?

RK : I was inspired by James Cameron's Avatar movie.

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?

RK : Everyone.

DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?

RK : As far as I know there is no such product on the market.

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?

RK : I was inspired by James Cameron's Avatar movie. I combined the word Avatar with flowers.

DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
