DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: an endless loop of events, like a dream possible can be
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: simplicity and complexity, a co-existence of contrast
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: sell it and promote it, of course, also keep evolving
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: Actually it came from a design that didn't nominated las year. I just want to play with it.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: It's rather an inspiration pursuit, in which is a simple mechanism of elements can be very interesting.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: My design was not used by another company. Either selling or leasing the production rights is OK.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: It's rather interesting. I have teaching architectural design for freshman for years. To deliver my concept and to inspire students, I would like to have this design as a demonstration of lighting installations.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: interior designers, architects, or anyone who wants to decorate a space of interest
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: Industrial product was used as an appropriate form for representation.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: An endless loop just likes a dream it never ends. This is where the name come from.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Very traditional one like hand-made. But to incorporate the metaphor of dream, a comprehensive research effort was made to find an appropriate form of industrial product for representation.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: a mathematic concept into a metaphor of on-and-on dreaming
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: I did all by myself and enjoy that.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: If these is any involvement of technology, it would be the mathematic concept applied to conduct the entire piece into an almost continuous loop.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: "Möbius band" was influential and lead the configuration from parallel axis to an endless band.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: To conduct a paradigm shift with the development of concept and details would be most challenging.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: It's a great opportunity to open up your eyes and to have a strong connection to professionals.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: I guess a simple modification is not feasible, a paradigm shift will do.
