DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: Buddhism believes that the universe is balanced and all-inclusive. Since the home owner’s philosophy is the same, we incorporated this belief into our design by removing all the doorways and combine all the spaces into one.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: The essence of a private space is often determined by its users. Meanwhile, the role of the design is to interpret style to coincide with the exact pattern of daily life through the use of different materials.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: Expensive materials are superficial without the proper design. The smell, interactions with light and temperature, and the feel of delicate textures are all incorporated into designs to make the users of a space feel comfortable and wealthy in their hearts and in their life. It is deeply believed that the concept of home is both the origin and the endpoint of life’s pursuit. That constant waiting to go home is how a comfortable space will make you feel.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: Half year.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: Buddhism believes that the universe is balanced and all-inclusive. Since the home owner’s philosophy is the same, we incorporated this belief into our design by removing all the doorways and combine all the spaces into one. This is particularly shown in connecting the eldest son’s room with that of the mother, which represents the everlasting bond between parent and child. The other side of the hallway has a linear light fixture that points to two windows.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: It a interior design just for the client.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: It's a space about the mother and son's relationship
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: The clients' feeling for each other inspired us to do the design

: it's private residence
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: Every client is different, and base on their need makes every work is unique and special
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: Buddhism believes that the universe is balanced and all-inclusive. Since the home owner’s philosophy is the same, we just want the house is like the feeling.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Various different interior techniques.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: It's our concept, "Expensive materials are superficial without the proper design. The smell, interactions with light and temperature, and the feel of delicate textures are all incorporated into designs to make the users of a space feel comfortable and wealthy in their hearts and in their life."
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: With our teams including well skilled workers who are already become our friends.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: Distinct color palettes and the use of vertical and horizontal lines are attention grabbing.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: We talked to our clients for many times to catch their ideas and find the methods to get the mail core.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: We are trying to show the elegance and comfortable of a home but without expensive luxury material. Even original material could also get the goal.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: It's really a perfect and nice residence and we want to show it to everyone to let everyone know it could be also their sweet home.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: In the process, we learn different thoughts of the life. It's a satisfied of spirit.
