DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: Sunglasses are all about ergonomics and body fit.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: The main focus in my work was to create a unique - innovative piece.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: I truly believe that "Shade me if you can" sunglasses has a "star quality". This fashion forward unisex piece, appealing to different age crowds, and can be made with different material-color combination. I'm sure that "Shade me if you can" sunglasses would leave their mark in the innovative fashion accessory zone.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: 4-5 months.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: I designed it as a part of my graduation project. My inspiration was the extraction of a specific body parts, using their curves and guidelines.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: I plan to manufacture it and sell it under my brand.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: I always had an attraction toward sunglasses. Doing one my self was sort of a dream come true. I think that this project truly represents my abilities and aesthetics.

: Alexander Mcqueen RIP
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Unisex adult fashion lovers
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: The ergonomics, material combination and the face its all handmade.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: "catch me if you can" 2002 movie totally inspired me. "Shade me if you can" is about the visor
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: I was 1000% focused on body engineering
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: The shapes. The integration of the geometric shapes with the gentle curves
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: My college teacher: MR. URI SAMMET
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: its all handmade
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: I had to find the right weight- both for the wood and the metal.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I think it can be a wonderful opportunity to expose my work.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: I keep surprising myself. and that I should always believe in my self and my abilities.
