DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?

: It is taken from the initial A of the word Architecture as the basic graph. And the shape of the letter is transformed from 2D to 3D.

DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?

: I pay more attention on Experimental.I use wood to find more possible about visual space .

DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?

: Continue to find more possible about visual space.

DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?

: One month.

DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?

: I also do some research and experiments in order to find different materials and try our best use it in our design process. I decide to pursuit an inspiration.

DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?

: I intent to produce my work myself.

: I can do some research and experiments in order to find different materials and try our best use it in our design process.

: I learn more design knowledge from my tutor.He also gives me many useful guidance. He helps us a lot.

: some Research on the development of the mathematical patterns .

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?

: According to understand the structure contents and the visual space ,it means space transformation and changing possible to some extent.

DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?

: Rhino,Measuring Tools, Cutting Tools, grinding tools

DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?

: Do some Research on the development of the mathematical patterns .

: I collaborate with my classmates for this design.Yes,Because of our limited experience comparing with skilled workers, I am work with people with technical / specialized skills.

: Let all the parts of elements cooperates the whole thing

DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?

: yes,It is.

DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?

: the edge of plank is outward, how to identify the cutting angle of every plank at surface? How to maintain the balance and identify the stress point? How to find the best connecting material? How to keep it waterproof and resistant to insects?

DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?

: I hope to show more ideas and share it to friends in the near future.

DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?

: We met kinds of unexpected problems from start to finish, under the guidance of tutor, after 7 team members’ co-work and trust, we accomplished the task.
