DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: The inspiration for "Logo: Visual Asset Development" book came from our experiences in providing consulting, branding, and design services to our clients.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: We want businessman to know more about their logo, we sharing about conceptual and analytical design.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: If we win in gold/platinum, i manage to publish it in our 2nd book: Logo: Visual Asset Transition
so many people will learn to join this competition.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: The project started in 2014 in Jakarta and finished in 2015 in Jakarta
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: We create this book to enlighten people. Especially businessman to help them know their logo's value better and protect their logo.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: Our design has been produces in 3.000 books. Published by Elex Media Komputindo (Kompas Gramedia Group) This is the biggest and leader publisher in Indonesia. From 1985, they has been sold more than 14.000 books (title) with more than 200.000.000 (pieces)
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: In today's business world, visual plays an increasingly important role to build the image and identity in the public's mind. Like human beings who have the face and appearance, a company and brand build a visual identity to represent itself. A strong visual identity contains vision, hope, values, philosophy, character, and uniqueness that make it different, meaningful, and valuable. Visual Asset is an important element in the company's overall business strategy.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: My inspiration come from God, my team, my family, my teacher, and my friends.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: businessman and designer
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: "LOGO: Visual Asset Development" ia a book about concept and inspiration to creating logo, in business, design, and intellectual property perspectives. In this book, the reader not only can read the text and view the image, but also can select brand class for their business based on NICE Classification. In back cover we add QR code, so user can With QR code on back cover, user are able to scan and connected to www.visual-asset.com. We design the interaction process so user can experience a great after sales service.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: Logo: Visual Asset Development. Visual plays an increasingly important role to build the image and identity in the public's mind. Like human beings who have the face and appearance, a company and brand build a visual identity to represent itself. A strong visual identity contains vision, hope, values, philosophy, character, and uniqueness that make it different, meaningful, and valuable.

: Software: Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop

DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: In today's business world, visual plays an increasingly important role to build the image and identity in the public's mind. Like human beings who have the face and appearance, a company and brand build a visual identity to represent itself. A strong visual identity contains vision, hope, values, philosophy, character, and uniqueness that make it different, meaningful, and valuable. Visual Asset is an important element in the company's overall business strategy. This book presents the concept and inspiration for business people to participate in the process of designing a visual identity by integrating business, design, and intellectual property perspective. The approach used in this book is a practical, completed with images and presented in an attractive layout for the ease and convenience of the reader.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: All team member of PT Elemen Sukses Mandiri. Yes, we did.. we do analytical research brainstorming, and branding.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: technology is a tool to make life easier and connected with people
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: Yes, based on our experience. Until 2015 we have done to create more than 100 company logo design around the world and with this book, we tried help people to know and improve their asset. (include the meaning and logos value) also we give education about trademark and copyright
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: we have to manage different size of paper and different software edition between our team and publisher.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I think design should be enlighten people.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: We studied a lot of literature and analytic data

: I hope our book can be published in english edition (and another language) to reach a lot of people all around the world. thank you.
