: SEREL Wave washbasin includes the usage of adult and child together with its aesthetic form.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: When we start to design Serel Wave Washbasin, we focus on functionalism of use.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: This design takes approximately 6 months.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: Serel Wave Washbasin is designed by SEREL DESIGN TEAM under the Serel Sanitory Brand. So that Serel Sanitory Factory produce the product and don't sell or lease the production rights.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: Serel Wave Washbasin is designed by Serel Design Team.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Serel Wave washbasin's target customers are families which have children and in addition to usage as a children basin, it provides function for ablution and shoe cleaning which is use in Islam culture. So that our inother target group is Muslims.
Customer segment is high end and middle segment.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: Serel Wave Washbasin amaze its user with single bowl and single waste hole and provides the opportunity different bathroom experience to its user. It has structural and fluently form, meeting of aesthetic with water way in the bowl.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: Serel Wave Washbasin takes name its unique, structural and fluently form.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Serel Design Team used cg technologies and CNC machine for prototyping.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: Serel Wave Washbasin includes the usage of adult and child together with its aesthetic form.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: Serel Design Team consist of two Industrial Designers, one Mechanical Designer, one Sculptor and one Ceramic Specialist. So that skills of Serel Design Team are proficient for forming the washbasin.
