: Proper use of LED technology. Low power consumption and high efficiency.

: Complete product line with variations in ceiling and floor.

: One night!

DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?

: I was commissioned a project providing for the use of LED strips.

DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?

: We gave the manufacturing rights to the STATUS SRL Via Vittorio Veneto, 23, 20010 Bernate Ticino (MI)

DI: What made you design this particular type of work?

: Knowledge of the materials to be used and the LED technology

DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?

: The Customer helped us in the development of the body

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?

: Anyone who needs a light unobtrusive and pleasant.

DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?

: To my knowledge there is not currently on the market, a similar product.

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?

: A tribute to my daughter.

DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?

: A compact and discrete element that diffuses the light into two different directions.

DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?

: The Customer a company specializing in the manufacture of methacrylate

DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?

: Fundamental, if they had not produced LED strips we could never conceive of an object as this lamp.

DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?

: If I have to be honest .... pure pleasure!

DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?

: Create a product with the right production cost.

DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?

: I like to compare myself with others and share experiences.

DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?

: The best use of the acrylic sheet.
