DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
HW : The main principle behind the design of the Smarty AI keyboard app is to seamlessly integrate advanced AI capabilities into everyday smartphone use. The idea is to empower users by providing them instant access to AI assistance within any app or context. The inspiration came from the need to make AI more accessible and useful in daily tasks, enhancing productivity and convenience by allowing users to consult AI effortlessly through their virtual keyboard.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
HW : My main focus in designing the Smarty AI keyboard app was to create a seamless and intuitive user experience that integrates AI capabilities into everyday smartphone use. I wanted to achieve a design that makes it effortless for users to access AI assistance in any app or context, enhancing their productivity and convenience without disrupting their usual workflow. The goal was to make AI a natural extension of the virtual keyboard, providing helpful insights and support at the user's fingertips.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
HW : My future plans for the Smarty AI keyboard app include continuous improvements based on user feedback, integrating more advanced AI features, and expanding its compatibility across different platforms and devices to reach a broader audience.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
HW : Designing the Smarty AI keyboard app took approximately six months, from initial concept development through iterative prototyping and user testing to the final polished design.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
HW : I decided to pursue this design out of inspiration. I recognized the potential for AI to significantly enhance user productivity and convenience if seamlessly integrated into the everyday tool of a virtual keyboard.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
HW : Currently, I plan to produce and manage the Smarty AI keyboard app myself through my company, FAT. However, I am open to potential partnerships or licensing opportunities with companies that share the same vision.
