DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?

TY : The power of self-healing. People heal themselves.

DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?

TY : Designing the sensation of stroking the head with the palm of the hand.

DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?

TY : Debuting in markets around the world.

DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?

TY : About two months.

DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?

TY : "One morning, inspiration struck.

DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?

TY : It has already been released in Japan in November 2023. The initial production batch sold out through pre-orders before release, and additional productions have been made since then.

DI: What made you design this particular type of work?

TY : I planned and designed this product to create a new brand with fresh value within the range of technology held by the manufacturing company.

DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?

TY : What continues to influence me is the creator of this world.

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?

TY : "All genders, everyone who wants to take care of their hair.

DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?

TY : "I think there's nothing like an electric brush that you can use by placing it on the palm of your hand.

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?

TY : The concept "Reset and Detox Everyday" has been abbreviated to "Readey."

DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?

TY : Paper and pen, Mac, and several applications.

DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?

TY : Organic rounded form.

DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?

TY : Mold specialists at the factory, manufacturer representatives, advisors, etc.

DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?

TY : Comfortable, ideal hair care.

DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?

TY : I researched brushes from all over the world as much as possible.

DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?

TY : Even with detachable parts, ensuring a stable user experience.

DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?

TY : Since I received a recommendation from the A' Design Award...

DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?

TY : To design more freely and more richly.
