DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
AIM : The logo refers to the historical, architectural, and landscape characteristics of the Villa. The logo creation is a mirror. It is a symbol that shows the values of the area of Emilia and Italy to the world. It is the business card that will be imprinted in people’s memory. It will create a sense of awareness and belonging.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
AIM : Branding for Villa Sorra which is situated in the heart of the countryside of Emilia. It is surrounded by trails of fog wounding their way through the morning light and the checkerboard created by peasants’ hard work. It is a pleasant and almost enchanted place. It is a gem that tells a story made by peculiar legends, protected animals, and grapes that become world-renowned Made in Italy's excellences: the Tortellini, the Balsamic Vinegar, and the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
AIM : Help in branding architectural sites like Villa Sorra.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
AIM : The project started in April 2020 in Egypt and finished in June 2020 in Egypt.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
AIM : It is a branding identity for a historical Villa in Italy to preserve and innovate. It will promote cultural, didactic and tourist activities working hand in hand with numerous local associations, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the high school Istituto di Istruzione Superiore per l’agricoltura e l’ambiente “Lazzaro Spallanzani”.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
AIM : To help the Villa function as a food academy.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
AIM : People of Emilia-Romagna.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
AIM : After studying the history of the Villa, we knew that the garden of the villa is a remarkable example of a historical park. It will be a real open-air monument. Moreover, it is a significant testament to the Italian culture and artistic heritage. Also the Architecture, Villa Sorra is a great example of the Emilian baroque style. The design is perhaps by Giuseppe Antonio Torri and his pupil Francesco Maria Angelini.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
AIM : Name of the Villa.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
AIM : Design softwares.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
AIM : The Logo.

DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?

DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
AIM : The longest part was finding the perfect illustration to represent each department in the Villa.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
AIM : Knowing the value it creates. and how it can inspire designers everywhere.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
AIM : Reading and seeing.
