DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
KF : Making a story not only in fashion but in the design itself,
We make jewelry that people who wear it will love for a lifetime and will be handed down to future generations.
Ideas and inspirations are compared with my own real experience and experience,
Derive the jewelry you want to express.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
KF : I verified the design from various angles in order to express the decided concept, and even though I was worried that it might not be possible to think of the finished product, I challenged it and felt a sense of accomplishment. The importance of trying without giving up.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
KF : I want to exhibit it in shops and many other places.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
KF : The miracle of the birth of life is expressed in jewelry and designed in pursuit of inspiration.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
KF : I made a work with my own brand.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
KF : People are born miraculously and can enjoy a happy life by connecting with them.
Such feelings were connected with DNA (double helix structure) with a chain that represents the connection.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
KF : Not particularly.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
KF : Everyone who loves jewelry
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
KF : It is a unique piece because it is cleverly assembled using many parts and colors.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
KF : It is not natural to give birth to this world, but it is a miraculous thing.
No one in the world is the same as two people. Being born is special.
I expressed such feelings with jewelry and named it a miracle of the birth of life.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
KF : Illustrator Rhino CAD
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
KF : Using many parts and colors, it looks up cleverly and has an excellent fit.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
KF : My assistant and affiliated factory
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
KF : Not particularly.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
KF : Not particularly.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
KF : Since it is a variable type, it was difficult to maintain the size and balance when assembled.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
KF : I have been involved in jewelry design and production for about 20 years, and my own thoughts,
I wanted to recognize how design is evaluated by the world.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
KF : Challenges and ways of thinking that make the impossible possible. Aspirations born by achieving them.
