DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
BS : It is all about Love. I tried to make Love touchable. I tried to make a mysterious feeling comprehensible and confess-able.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
BS : My focus was to transform an invisible feeling into a concrete shape And good design.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
BS : My plan is to sell the jewellery. Mystery and Confession will be produced individually for each couple.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
BS : Mystery and Confession are a spin-off of the Talibea-Collection. Talibea was founded in 2015.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
BS : Mystery and Confession are the answer to the question of how to show an universal feeling in it’s all-embracing complexity.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
BS : The jewelleries will be sold exclusive by me.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
BS : I designed this jewelleries to produce wearable emotions. Jewels should always represent emotions, I think.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
BS : Martin Schellhas helped me with the 3D-data.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
BS : Couples, Friends, All people that want to confess a mysterious feeling.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
BS : The design is hidden inside the rings. Instead of seeing it, you can feel it.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
BS : The name resembles the main function: confessing a mysterious feeling.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
BS : Pencil and paper, than 3D-data.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
BS : The symbol of love is not only at the inside of the ring - you can choose individually how many hearts you want to wear inside your ring.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
BS : Yes: Martin Schellhas. Goldsmith and 3D-Specialist for Jewellery.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
BS : The latest technology is used to make sure that the individually has cost effectiveness. Customers choose their ringseize as well as the amount of hearts.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
BS : I did it before and had a good result ;-)
