DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
AZ : the inspiration of this project comes from the study of the natural phenomenon of erosion of rainwater on the rocks of the dolomites, it represents the beauty and fragility of marble, the perplexing centers come together in one point, creating a game, represented by the spheres of steel that roll thanks to the slope of the top.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
AZ : create a table in precious Carrara marble, represent the beauty of the mountains carved by the streets that become an entertainment game for diners who can pass the time by rotating the steel balls in the circles
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
AZ : the awarded project will be placed in valuable restaurants.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
AZ : six months passed between the study of the concept, the research and the final project and the realization.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
AZ : I was commissioned, one of my clients wanted special tables for the starred restaurant.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
AZ : the table is produced but I plan to sell the rights to other manufacturers.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
AZ : a challenge, to use a precious and important material to create a sculpture table.

AZ : Top restaurants
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
AZ : it stands out for its shape and precious material, the statuary marble of Carrara.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
AZ : sconcentrico, like carved circles and its base
