DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?

SML : i want to design houses with an open floorplan and a strong connection to the natural environment

DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?

SML : the layout of the house has three wings to generate different gardenpaces and vistas

DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?

SML : i like to have this very special house published a much as posibble and i hope it will last for centuries

SML : about 2 months

DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?

SML : it was a comission for a privat client and his large family. it is a large structure perfectly hidden in the site without a loud optical apearance

SML : it is a house with a style i developed over the years

SML : the extraordinary layout

SML : it the initial of the client

SML : cad and sketches

SML : the swimming pool area with the big whale

SML : with my team and external engineers

SML : it is relevant to have a smart building fit for the future

SML : the planning application was very complicated but finally succesful

SML : i already won some awards

SML : every project is new to me and i learn with every step i go
