DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
SML : i want to design houses with an open floorplan and a strong connection to the natural environment
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
SML : the layout of the house has three wings to generate different gardenpaces and vistas

SML : i like to have this very special house published a much as posibble and i hope it will last for centuries

SML : about 2 months

SML : it was a comission for a privat client and his large family.
it is a large structure perfectly hidden in the site without a loud optical apearance

SML : it is a house with a style i developed over the years
