DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: To design a font on the iPad.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: Our focus was to create a script that has visual appeal and most importantly is easily legible.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: It's currently sold on www.fonts.gr, however we aim to make it available through other type foundries as well. We plan to increase the languages it's available in.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: It was an inspiration
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: It is sold on www.fonts.gr. It has also the main font used on a client's packaging (Karamolegos, baked goods)
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: I absolutely love working on my iPad. it's an amazing tool. I sketch and doodle on it quite frequently, and decided to create a typeface.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Design studios, but anyone really.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: I believe it is a script that has visual appeal and I think the fact that it has been created on the iPad makes it quite unique.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: I named it after my company, Red Design Consultants.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: Yes, Eleni Beveratou implemented the letter-forms into a font.
