DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
MB : The website is for a doctor, so it’s a sensitive topic. Our main goal was to create a space that feels comfortable and reassuring, helping visitors build trust in the practice. We wanted to communicate clearly that most health concerns are manageable, so people feel supported and informed.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
MB : Our main focus was to create a light and positive feeling the moment someone opens the website. We wanted the design to feel optimistic and trustworthy, helping visitors feel at ease and confident in the care they’ll receive.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
MB : The project is complete and working well for our client. She’s one of the best dermatologists in Bulgaria, and this design has helped boost her credibility and provide greater comfort to her patients.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
MB : The project took around eight weeks from start to finish.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
MB : We designed the site with soft colours to create a positive, light, and optimistic atmosphere. Since some of the conditions treated can be serious, like cancer, bright colours could feel overwhelming. Featuring the doctor’s face serves as a symbol of trust, helping visitors feel more comfortable and reassured. Creating a sense of calm and confidence was my main priority throughout the project.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
MB : This design was created specifically for Dr. Dancheva and her practice, and it is currently used exclusively by her.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
MB : My main motivation was to create a design that supports her patients and helps them feel more hopeful and confident about their possibilities, while also giving the expert the recognition she deserves.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
MB : The target customer for this design is her patients, as she is a dermatologist.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
MB : What sets this design apart is its careful balance of professionalism and warmth. It’s tailored specifically to a sensitive field, creating a calming and trustworthy experience that helps patients feel comfortable and confident. Every detail - from the soft color palette to the clear, gentle communication - is designed to support this unique purpose.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
MB : The design carries the name of the doctor herself. It reflects the personal and professional identity of her practice, making the connection authentic and direct.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
MB : For this project, we used WordPress with Elementor for the website build, along with Adobe Creative Cloud for design and visual assets.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
MB : The most unique aspect of our design is how it combines a calming, approachable atmosphere with clear, professional communication.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
MB : I worked closely on this project with my design team at More By Us. Besides myself, two designers were involved - Bozhidar Hadzhiev and Beloslava Ivanova.

DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
MB : We researched many websites of similar experts, conducted interviews with potential patients, and used those insights to create a targeted plan of action for the design.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
MB : The main challenges we faced were working with an existing website rather than starting from scratch, and handling a lot of graphic material that needed to convey educational value without overwhelming visitors or encouraging self-diagnosis.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
MB : Being a doctor plays an important role in our society, and I believe this project deserved to be seen by a wider audience. That’s why we decided to submit the design to an international competition.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
MB : Working on this project definitely made me more aware of the importance of regular doctor visits. I realized that many problems can be addressed quickly and painlessly if caught early, so I’ll be making my own health a priority going forward.
