DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
T-DH : Our design is rooted in Tawuniya’s commitment to “We Provide Confidence.” We aimed to transform insurance from a transactional process into a seamless, empowering experience. Inspired by the need for clarity and trust, the app ensures users feel secure and supported at every interaction.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
T-DH : Our focus was on creating an intuitive, user-centric platform that simplifies complex insurance processes. We strived to deliver a design that offers clarity, ease of use, and immediate access to essential services, reinforcing our promise of confidence and reliability.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
T-DH : We plan to expand the app’s capabilities by integrating more personalized services, leveraging AI for predictive assistance, and enhancing accessibility features. Our goal is to continuously evolve the app to meet users’ changing needs while maintaining the trust and confidence they place in us.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
T-DH : The design process spanned approximately 12 months, encompassing research, prototyping, user testing, and iterative refinements to ensure a user experience that truly embodies our brand values.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
T-DH : This design was commissioned as part of our digital transformation initiative. Recognizing the evolving expectations of our users, we were inspired to create a solution that aligns with our mission to provide confidence through innovative and user-friendly services.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
T-DH : The design is proprietary and exclusively used by Tawuniya. It serves as a cornerstone of our digital offerings, enhancing the way we connect with and serve our customers.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
T-DH : The need to demystify insurance and make it more approachable drove this design. We wanted to create a platform that not only meets functional needs but also builds emotional connections, fostering trust and confidence.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
T-DH : We drew inspiration from leading digital platforms known for their user-centric designs. However, our primary influence was the feedback and needs of our own users, ensuring the design resonates with their expectations and experiences.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
T-DH : Our target audience includes all Tawuniya customers, ranging from individuals to businesses. The design caters to a diverse user base, ensuring accessibility and ease of use for everyone seeking reliable insurance solutions. 
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
T-DH : The Tawuniya Super App stands out through its seamless integration of services, intuitive navigation, and commitment to user empowerment. It transforms complex insurance processes into straightforward, confidence-inspiring experiences.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
T-DH : The name “Tawuniya Super App” reflects our ambition to offer a comprehensive, superior digital platform. It signifies an all-encompassing solution that brings together various insurance services under one roof, enhancing user convenience.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
T-DH : We utilized industry-standard design tools such as Figma for prototyping and collaboration, ensuring a streamlined design process and effective team communication.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
T-DH : The most distinctive feature is the app’s ability to provide real-time, personalized insurance services. This immediacy and customization set it apart, offering users unparalleled confidence and control over their insurance needs.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
T-DH : The project was a collaborative effort involving UX designers, Ux writers, RPA team and developers, Project managers, business team of insurance experts, and customer service professionals. This multidisciplinary approach ensured a well-rounded, user-focused design.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
T-DH : Technology is central to the app, enabling features like AI-driven assistance, real-time updates, and secure transactions. It ensures the app is not only functional but also reliable and responsive to user needs.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
T-DH : Yes, user data and feedback played a crucial role. We conducted surveys, usability tests, and analyzed user behavior to inform design decisions, ensuring the app effectively addresses user needs and preferences.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
T-DH : One challenge was ensuring the app remained user-friendly while incorporating complex insurance functionalities. Balancing simplicity with comprehensive service offerings required careful planning and iterative design.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
T-DH : We believed the app exemplifies innovation and user-centric design in the insurance industry. Submitting it to an international competition was a step towards sharing our commitment to excellence and confidence with a broader audience.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
T-DH : The project reinforced the importance of empathy in design. Understanding user needs and perspectives was key to creating a solution that truly provides confidence and meets real-world demands.
