PS : Core draws inspiration from the remarkable process by which gemstones are formed. The intense pressure and heat these natural elements undergo give birth to the stunning treasures that captivate our senses. It is this very process that serves as the foundation for the necklace's design. The centerpiece of the necklace is a breathtaking 2.5cts natural Sri Lankan pink sapphire, which represents the pinnacle of natural beauty that results from this process. This gemstone, like all precious gems, is a true marvel to behold, having slowly grown over time into a coveted treasure that nature offers us. Complementing this beautiful sapphire are two Silicon specimens representing the earth's crust, from which these gems are born. These specimens were carefully selected for their dark color and rough texture, being a stark contrast to the bright pink and smooth faceting of the sapphire. Together, these elements create a truly exceptional piece of jewelry that celebrates the remarkable process by which gemstones are formed. PS : My ultimate goal wat to create an aesthetic representation of the genesis of gemstones. Behind this idea, lies the deep desire to showcase the core - the very birth- of what makes the art of jewellery ultimately a natural precess, a gift from nature.
PS : Over a span of three years, from 2019 to 2021, the design journey unfolded. Each year brought new insights and challenges, leading to the refinement of the concept. Countless hours of research and dedication were poured into capturing the essence of gemstone genesis.
PS : I embarked on a personal journey, my mission was to design a necklace that would serve as a profound testament to the very essence of artistic jewelry creation. It became a necessary tribute, a homage to the magnificent wonders of nature that inspire and shape our craft.
PS : The design underwent meticulous craftsmanship in my personal workshop in Beijing, where it was transformed into an exquisite art piece. Each minute detail was attended to with utmost care, showcasing a profound dedication to the craft. Eventually, the art piece captivated the discerning eye of one of our esteemed collectors, solidifying its place as a cherished addition to their remarkable collection.

The presence of the two rare and sizeable silica specimens, which are seldom found in their pure form, is a remarkable discovery in itself. It is a testament to the generosity of nature, a true blessing to encounter not just one but two of these exceptional treasures. Furthermore, the Sri Lankan Pink sapphire, with its excellent quality, stands as a magnificent work of art on its own.
