SJ : The decision to design the concept for "Lan Ya Baiyun" was driven by a deep-rooted passion for preserving and celebrating the cultural heritage and artistry of blue calico, coupled with a strong commitment to showcasing the rich legacy of this traditional craft within a contemporary context. The design was not commissioned but emerged from a shared inspiration and dedication to honoring the intricate artistry and cultural significance of blue calico within the broader narrative of Chinese heritage.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
SJ : At present, our design for "Lan Ya Baiyun" remains a proprietary concept that has not been produced or used by another company. We have not entered into any agreements to sell or lease the production rights of this design to external entities. Our current intent is to retain full ownership of the design and potentially explore avenues for its production in the future under our own initiatives.
