DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
NS : The futuristic shape of the central structure combined with the simplified lines of the displays are the representation of this philosophy, usually expressed with the words "less is more".
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
NS : Simplicity combined with functionality and emotional connection were the concepts behind this minimal exhibition stand.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
NS : This award winning design will be the inspiration for my future projects in order to achieve other successes.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
NS : After the first hybrid idea and the starting sketches, it takes me almost one month to complete this project.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
NS : The main challenge of this innovation structure was the defying gravity.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
NS : This design was produced and realized for a unique client for a specific event.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
NS : The creation of a unique and breathtaking stand drove me during the all design.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
NS : Two people were active supporters of this project, the BD Expo Company's owner, Mr. Eugenio Benaglia, such as the De Rosa Associates's Owner, Mr. Dario De Rosa. They suggested and helped me in particular during the first steps of this design.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
NS : The target of this design is everyone who wants to make a great impression of his company, showing his products under the defy-gravity gate.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
NS : The futurist shape combined with the high-quality of materials and the attention to the details stand out compared the other exhibition stands.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
NS : The name "Hello Future" sounds like a warm welcome to a new era of fair stands.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
NS : Professional rendering and modelling software such as 3ds Max plug-in Vray and Inventor in addition to our visionary idea.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
NS : The illusion of different view point changes is the distinctive element that makes this stand unique.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
NS : Engineers, graphic designers and fair experts were active participants of the project.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
NS : The innovation ledwall technology such as the high-sound system defund an important role for the client brand communication.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
NS : The idea of the project raised in my mind following the necessity to create something new.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
NS : The main challenge was the defying the gravity, creating a structure on the limit of the impossible.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
NS : I would like to compete against such important and experts designers all over the world to do a bit of soul-searching.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
NS : The design of this structure obliged me to improve my knowledge about materials, software and lighting solutions.
DI: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
NS : I would like to really thank all the BD Expo team, the De Rosa Associates members and our open-minded client Pavoni Italia, who permitted me to achieve this important goal for my design career.
