DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?

In daily life, people put themselves in a space somewhere.
Home, school, work, public institution, commercial facility...
In every space, what do people see, experience and feel?
We base on people, harmonize every element, like function, things, environment to create a space and the style, and that is our job. We'd love to keep creating the space that makes your life joyful and pleasant, the space becomes more attractive and valuable by people who are enjoying it.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: The eaves and wall of each masses that is slanted towards the skies with different directions is covering the mass of the house finished in red cedar material. The building stands as a sculpture in a harmonious peaceful rural environment, aiming for an iconic architecture structure.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: More competition, more exposure.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: I6-house「House with sunlight through the leaves of trees」is a house that is design so that family can spend a good times enjoying social interaction on BBQ or private party in the terrace space, living, and dining on a clear sunny days.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: To influence more people to design better works
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: It stands in remote area surrounded by nothing standing as iconic structure
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: As you enter the house you can see the light penetrate through the trees into light courtyard gives a dramatic spatial experience.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: We only use standard CAD software and free 3d modeling tools
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I always do soits not something hard to decide
