: To make reading glasses that can be always with you and that are suitable for everyone

: I wanted to make glasses that are suitable for most people, are comfortable and available for all

: I would like to make world famous brand, the most recognizable glasses.

: About 1 years
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: That was my personal need and inspiration

: I sell products myself in my company.

: Karl Annus made the 3-d model of the product
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: The target customers are all people who use reading glasses
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: It is much lighter and comfortable than other similar concepts
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: That was long and difficult process. Glens is the compound of glasses+lense.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: That was a specially made device that set the shape for the prototype of designed item.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: The bridge
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: I collaborated with designer Karl Annus, who made the 3-d visualisation and helped me with the realisation of my idea.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: the unique material for making the glasses is tiny granules of high-quality co-polyester
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: There was made a research of the bridge radius. Also there was made a research of how the glasses held on the nose.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: The main challenge was to find the solution that is suitable for most people

: I have get the invitation
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: i got the new knowledges in the optics field
