DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
: Pursue the acoustic comfort in those places where it is most necessary and in which it is an increasingly forgotten factor.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: Acoustics are children's spaces, as well as a design adapted to the needs of the little ones.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: It just came up. After a long time working with the theme of acoustics and with products that incorporated this characteristic, one day came the idea of taking this concept to more unusual spaces but equally full of noise and noise: nurseries.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: Working for the new company Off Acustic, we decided to design a product that went beyond the conventional, do something different and apply it in a space more forgotten by the world of design.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: It belongs to Off Acustic, we will collaborate in its production and sale.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Nurseries and schools.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: The target audience.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: It is the combination of the brand with the diminutive "mini", a way to reflect the silence and acoustic absorption in the world of children.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: Yes, behind it there is a whole analysis of acoustic absorption and materials.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: We received an invitation from our association of designers.
