: Solving a problem in a innovative way.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: Organizing food to keep them fresh longer.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: It took about 2 months.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: It was a midterm project in my junior college year.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: Midterm project in college.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: No, there arent.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
: Anyone who wants to organize their fridge, can benefit of this project.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: Movable sections, a usage of net material, providing an organized shelf system in the refrigerator. These make Tazetut differ from other projects.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: "Tazetut" means in Turkish "keep it fresh" , I try to name my design as referring to its functions.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: Softwares like, Rhinoceros, Keyshot 5, Solidworks etc.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: The most unique aspect of my design is that it can keep your fridge clean and organize at the same time.
DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
: I visualized then I used computer programs. Plastic parts can be produce injection moulding method and metal parts are suitable for extrusion method.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: I observed and researched refrigerators' using process.
DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
: I tried to keep the project parts standardized as possible as. That is the main challenge for this project.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: I heard that A' Design Competition when I was student, and I think, I'm ready for a new experience.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: I learned that make a several prototype is a very important process for design.
